The design of “Just Like Home” Pet Hotel is to provide safe, comfortable, fun boarding conditions in a home-style setting and social environment for dogs for short term and long term boarding. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following reqests:

SEX: All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.



VACCINATIONS (Required): Prior to your pet’s arrival, make sure that a copy of your pets’ vaccination records from your veterinarian, indicating that the vaccinations listed are current thru your boarding dates.  Owner administered, or over the counter, vaccinations will not be allowed to board.

Dog Vaccinations:

BV (Bordatella):	must have been given within the last six (6) months.
Rabies:	must have been given within last 1-3 years.
DHLPP (Distemper):	must have been given within 1-3 years.

HEALTH: All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or re-admitted.



BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.

PERSONAL PROPERTY:  Please take appropriate measures to put your last name and your pets name on all items (leashes, toys, blankets, etc.).  We will do our best to make sure your pets items are not lost, stolen (by another puppy) or damaged, however, we are not responsible for any items left with your pet. 



All greyhound guests will have 10% of their total bill donated back to the Greyhound group of their choice. If this option is applicable please indicate what group this donation should go to.

APPLICATION: All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date "Guest Information Form" and can be submitted at check-in. The Reservation form should be completed submitted online.

Fees and Rates are based on each guests per night stay. We have five (5) rooms ranging in size from 6’x 8’ to 7’x 9’. Webcam services have been suspended due to non-use.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in is 12:00 p.m. or after. Check out is 2:00 p.m. or as scheduled. A minimal "Extended Stay" cost of $5 per hour per guest before or after those times will be incurred.




DAYS AND HOURS: Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This center is not a daycare for anyone other than the guests registered for short or long term boarding.

RESERVATIONS: Required. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will be charged the cost of one night fee.

AMMENITIES: All rooms have ceramic tile floor, ceiling fan, TV, large luxury deep padded beds, water/food station, area rug, scenic wall mural and full tempered double insulated glass doors. Some rooms have exterior windows. All guests will be allowed free run of the house except for meals.



TREATS/FOOD:  All guests must bring their own food, in a sealed container (clear bag, Tupperware), labeled with their first and last name.  Inside the container please have measured out in separate baggies labeled A.M. or P.M, for the full length of your pets stay.  Special or refrigerated foods should be labeled with name and feeding instructions.

MEDICATIONS:  We can administer oral or topical medication as needed with name and  written instructions labeled on the container.  There is no cost for this service. .

BEDS/BLANKETS:  We provide all bedding but you are welcome to bring a favorite blanket or crate if your pet prefers these items for comfort reasons.  Please label all items with magic marker or other permanent pen. 



HIGHFEEDERS AND BOWLS:  Will be provided by “Just Like Home” Pet Hotel.

TOYS:    Any toys brought as part of your pets personal property must be labeled permanently.  We may be washing these items as well.  Please be aware that these items may be lost or damaged during your pets stay.

DAMAGE:  We do not anticipate that damage will occur, but should it happen, the following rates apply:;

Rugs: $10	Beds:$10 - $80
Mattress: $20 - $125	Bed cover: $10 - $40

MEDICAL ATTENTION:    We utilize the service of Dr. Ronald Hamilton, DVM, located on Linebaugh and Countryway Blvd.  We will take you pet to this location.  We will use the Power of Attorney for medical needs only.  Any costs incurred by  “Just Like Home” Pet Hotel that are paid to the Vet will be the responsibility of the owner and must be paid upon check-out.  A transportation fee of $15 per trip is charged to the owner if the pet is taken to the veterinarian.

CANCELLATIONS:  During holiday and peak time a deposit  equal to 2 nights stay will be required.  This deposit will be deducted from the boarding costs at the time of check-out.  Customers who “no show” or do not cancel within 5 days of arrival date forfeit that deposit.
